Long ago in a land far away Byzantine ‘coins’ were made in sterling silver. This reproduction has an 18 karat gold plate. They are now gone, other than this pair and one other as far as I can tell.

A small Garnet drop keeps the focus on the Byzantine ‘coin’ but the accent seems to fit perfectly.
