Tanzanite is relatively rare. It comes from one mine in Tanzania. Period. The color is one of my favorites. Leave it to me to love something hard to find. The mine is low and there is only so much out there.
It is a striking gemstone that exhibits a unique color range, including vibrant blues and purples. Discovered in Tanzania in the 1960s, it was Channel who introduced it to the world.
It a captivating color. A lavender blue is as close as I can get to describing it. Tanzanite is regarded as a symbol of transformation and spiritual growth.
