I think Opals are ethical. They glow so beautifully and are soft to the eye. Then there’s the fire! The good ones, and the only ones I’ll use, flash colors of gold, pink, red, green and sometimes a little blue.

The top circle is lab grown Opal Quartz and the stones falling from that are magic because of the fire. Unfortunately, that fire is not apparent in this photo, but rest assured those little drops sparkle like they are on fire.

One reason Opal’s flash color is because there are water molecules trapped within the stone. When the light hits them, you see a rainbow. How poetic is that?
