This is from my most favorite pot of treasures. It’s obvious why I’ve hung onto it for so many years. A large Garnet drop falls from the center. Given the size of the Garnet, it is not a bright red but a darker, richer red. Based on the design of what was a brooch, I think it’s from the late 1800s.

There is the smallest diamond in the world set in the center. It’s the size of a pinhead and it must have had great sentimental value to be set like this.
