Here’s a long story for a tiny bird.

After the world war ll Europe was decimated. I can’t imagine rebuilding all that was destroyed. For ‘pin’ money women in Italy and Czechoslovakia sat at their kitchen tables after all their chores were finished with a propane torch and rods of glass. They made flowers and animals (mainly birds) with wires in them and sold those to people who made groovy short necklaces jam packed with the flowers and birds. They were sweet, happy and hopeful, just what the doctored after what they went through while bombs raining down on them..
