I’d give anything to find someone who could hand engrave. I’ve looked! I could keep them busy for the rest of their natural born lives.

This piece is particularly beautiful because of the depth of the engraving. Given the design this recycled brooch from around 1880-ish.

There's a cut flower engraved in the center with leaves shooting off in a star pattern. The edge is just as interesting. I think the detail is easily seen in the photos. The pearls are high luster, mauve and light pink. legend

It’s meant to be worn a bit short but I can change that easily. Measures approximately 17” long with a magnetic clasp and then there is always layering! I do think this should be passed down within a family where “Auntie Susie had such good taste;-}}} is said every time the box is opened. then you’ll become “a legend in the history of the family”
