I had this engraved with the word Illume (to illuminate) meaning to glow from within. Tourmaline comes in many colors but the pink is the most sought after partly do to it’s hue but also being the least common in the family of colors.

The locket opens if you want to keep a little lock of hair from your child or grandchild.
