I’ve been trying to find a way of explaining how incredibly rare these pearls are. They are the size of a pin top. Seriously. How on earth anyone could drill a hole through one is a complete mystery to me. I have never seen them until the day did and I will never see them again. You can take that to the bank! The three small pearls in the center draw the eye to a focal spot otherwise the necklace would look like fairies spun weensy silk thread around your neck.

There is a timeless elegance to pearls, they have been prized by women for millennia. For a period, they silently told people about your wealth but thank God we aren’t as petty as we once were. At this point they are prized for their luster, shape and center drilling.

This piece should be handed down to a family member or a dear friend you feel the same way about.
