Turquoise Starburst Necklace
Turquoise Starburst Necklace
I’ve started a series of what I call Starburst necklaces. They are a little ‘artsy’ but more than irresistible. I’m in love with them. They really look great on but it’s hard to tell from the photos. I have three (because I’m stingy) and every single time I wear one, hands down, I get compliments when I’m in restaurants or even the grocery store. Crazy I know but that’s how stunning they are on.
This one has many shades of Turquoise and a tiny handmade glass bird from the 1950’s. After WW2 Europe was beaten down to a pulp. To make side money women in Czechoslovakia, Italy and Japan would sit at their kitchen tables after their chores were done with a propane torch and makes flowers and birds to be made in these amazing, loaded charm necklaces. This is one of those birds. It has a gold ring around it’s tail.
